My wife and I recently had a baby at New York Hospital Queens, they were the best, as was Dr. Fieldman, her OB/GYN. Take the tour, you'll like it. |

Has anyone had a baby recently in New York Hospital/Queens Medical Center in Flushing? (previous post was from 2002) I'm deciding between that hospital and Lennox Hill (the other hospital where my dr has privileges). |

If you're talking about Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, you have selected an excellent maternity hospital. I've got twin grandkids who benefited from the experience. |

I know this thread has been out of commission for a bit but I was wondering about Winthrop Hospital and someone posted about it here. Is it considered better than Long Island Jewish Medical Center for baby delivery? Also, for anyone who has delivered at LIJMC, is the l&d area nice? Do they have Certified Midwives also? Are the nurses nice? |

Dr Anna Fieldman in Station Square is absolutely wonderful! She delivers at the new baby facility at New York Hospital/Queens Medical Center in Flushing. Get a tour of the place - it's beautiful and top of the line! |

If you don't mind L.I., Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola is wonderful; you can also have your baby delivered by a c.n.m (certified nurse midwife) with all available technology around you if needed in case of emergency. Women's Contemporary Health Care is a great gynocological and midwifery group out of Mineola. Good luck! |

You should consider Long Island Jewish (LIJ) Medical Center 270-05 76th Avenue New Hyde Park, New York 11040 (718) or (516) 470-7000 A very good hospital. Both of my children were born there. |

Hi there, I just found out I am pregnant with baby #1! I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice or information on hospitals/doctors/birthing centers in Queens... Thanks! |
